Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items upgrades are upgrade components that can be added to armors, weapons and trinkets in order to earn a bonus. They are generally more expensive and require the item be of an appropriate rank.
Upgrades aren't always worthwhile for items with high demands. This is particularly the case for items that don't roll with a lot of variation like eth titans.
Glyphs
After reaching level 50 the action-RPG of Blizzard moves from its simple campaign to the final game. This is when things really start to change, as players are being pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds to ensure their character's build is as strong as it can be.
Glyphs play a key part in this process. Glyphs' stats and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are several ways to get these upgrades however the most popular is by raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs allows you to insert symbols into your text. You can choose from the menu on the left side of the screen. The panel initially displays glyphs in the font that the cursor is placed but you can switch to the font in a different style or style, and narrow the list of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting an option from the options below the Entire Font (for instance, Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). You can view the CID/GID value as well as the Unicode value of any glyph by moving the cursor.
The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your most recent 35 glyphs and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you have to expand the panel so you can see all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by clicking on it using the right-click or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
Another feature of the Glyphs panel is the ability to create and edit an individual glyph set which is beneficial when you need to write certain types of text frequently. This will save you the time of manually inserting each glyph whenever you require it.
A custom glyph set can contain up to 31 glyphs comprising the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z), lowcase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_), and other glyphs. The glyphs that make up the suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternates that are special variations that combine two or more characters into a single visually unified symbol.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanics that give an additional benefit to items, such stats. Upgrades come in different types: reroll, level up and recycle. Each upgrade type comes with a unique set of extra bonuses on the item.
Reroll Tokens allow players to change an item's base power and the number of upgrades it has as well as be used to reroll ring substats. This is beneficial when a player wishes to upgrade an item but the "potential" power of the item isn't what they want. Or, if their substats of the item aren't what they want to be.
A reroll costs 1 token, and resets the item's upgrades, but will keep the rarity, set and level of the item. As an item is leveled up, its tier rises. The primary stat of the item will be increased by 3 points for each tier. Any additional stat that is randomly added will be increased along with it. The ability to level an item to its highest possible level increases its tier by 1.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to buy new Appliances, Ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Grab. Each blueprint is branded with a distinct icon, with each category of upgradable item displaying various icons:
Certain recipes require the use of certain Appliances or Ingredients which can be purchased by selecting the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, which means that they will not be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others have a higher chance of being available when an appropriate franchise card is selected at the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in that pool for the duration of the run. Similarly, non-staple Equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product made from recycled materials, you are not only helping the environment, but also giving that item a new life. The majority of recycled items are returned to the original manufacturer to be remade into a new item. This is referred to as "closing the recycling loop."
If someone places something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then it is offered to manufacturers at the end of the line to make something completely new. Remade products include:
This process reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to create something other than. This reduces the amount of damage caused to the natural world as fewer trees are trimmed down and rivers diverted, and wild animals displaced. It also reduces the amount of pollution caused by the dumping of raw materials into our soil, water and air.

Another reason to buy recycled products is that it takes less energy to make new items from recycled material than it does to make them out of raw materials. The manufacturing process for a new aluminum container requires 95% more power than the manufacturing of an aluminum can made from recycled material. This is why every little bit counts.
Leveling
The majority of units can level-up, giving them extra XP every time they attack or get attacked. This XP can be used to boost their primary stats or unlock additional upgrades on the unit's development tree. Weapons are a great illustration of this, as they can be leveled up, increasing their damage and range.
